SRD Electronics

TT, SRD Electronics UG (with limited liability) addresses a terrestrial niche B2B market for RF equipment that powers high-frequency ion sources used in material processing (e.g. to produce nanotechnologies). The technology, originally developed and used for radio-frequency ion thrusters, allows the rf equipment to be more efficient, smaller and vacuum-proof. It also provides customers with improved process stability and enables new processes. During the ESA BIC incubation, the company aims to raise their technological and business maturity from a completed feasibility study to IRL 6. SRD Electronics is the second startup from Justus Liebig University Gießen.
